Art That Flows with You

Tattoo sleeves are more than just individual tattoos — they’re full-arm compositions that tell a story, build a theme, and make a bold statement. At Taggurrs Tattoos in Yuma, AZ, we design custom sleeves that are as cohesive as they are creative. Every element flows with the body’s shape, giving your ink movement, meaning, and style.

With over 31 years of tattoo experience, Brent "Taggurr" Roman has developed a signature approach to sleeves: start with the vision, plan the layout, and build each piece with precision and purpose.

What is a Tattoo Sleeve?

A sleeve is a collection of tattoos that spans all or most of your arm. It can be done all at once or built over time. Types include:

Icon of a satellite crossed out with a red X, indicating restricted access.

Full Sleeve: Shoulder to wrist

Icon of a spray paint can with an "X" mark, and multiple paint cartridges, indicating "do not spray".

Half Sleeve: Upper arm or lower arm

An icon of an ink cartridge crossed out with a red X.

Quarter Sleeve: Typically from shoulder to bicep

Black and white icon of a disallowed spray paint can and cartridges.

Mixed Styles: Blending black & grey with color or different techniques

Tattoo sleeves offer the space to create a visual journey — whether it’s symbolic, spiritual, illustrative, or abstract.

  • Can I build a sleeve from existing tattoos?

Yes — we can work around existing pieces and add new elements to create flow and consistency.

  • Do sleeves hurt more than small tattoos?

Larger pieces take more time and require multiple passes, but we work at your pace and schedule breaks as needed.
